REHOBETH METHODIST CHURCH (DAVIS CHAPEL) BURIALS – ANNOTATED

Thanks to Ron Massey for recording this cemetery and sharing it with us! Ron comments, "Davis Chapel is known today as Rehobeth Methodist Church. It was built in 1876, replacing an older Methodist Church founded in the 1830’s not far away, and is one of the four churches with burials to be found in and near the tiny village of Rehobeth. The church was doubtless named for the prominent family of James Davis. The derelict remains of a cast iron fence that apparently once enclosed the burial ground still stands at the rear of the church property. MD Route 113 runs between Pocomoke City and Westover. Take MD Route 467 off of 113 and follow it to Rehobeth"
